January Restorative Yoga Workshop
Welcoming Winter
Shiva Yoga Studio, Nansledan
Saturday 18th Jan | 1-3.30pm
£35 includes tea + vegan cake

A chance to embrace winter and get cosy with an afternoon of deep rest.

The session will explore the themes of Winter in Chinese Medicine which include the water element and finding flow, and nourishing the kidney and bladder meridians (energy lines) which run along the back body and inside of legs - so think calming forward folds and gentle hip opening.

The session will start with gentle Qigong (gentle flowing movement with breath) making our way towards the floor for several delicious restorative poses. These poses are all floor-based positions, where I will guide you to support your body with lots of lovely blankets, bolsters and blocks. The idea is to get the body as comfy as possible to allow the mind and nervous system to soften.
After the poses we will drop into a luxuriously long supported savasana relaxation.

We will end with tea and homemade vegan cake!

These workshops are super gentle and easily adapted so suitable for those recovering from injury, with limited mobility, pregnant or post-natal. Just check when booking if unsure.
Cancellation Policy
I understand that plans may change so if you cancel 75hours before the workshop you will receive a full refund.
